A Special Announcement

Good afternoon ladies and gentlemen.  I come to you today with a special announcement.

For those of you who have been wondering if I've died, no I have not.  In fact, I have been extraordinarily busy preparing something special for you.  Please listen to the announcement below:

Podcast Powered By Podbean

For those of you without ears or speakers, I am pleased to announce the Muppets For Justice podcast, starting very soon!  This will be a mini series of episodes, packed to the gills with hopefully funny sketches.

Although a firm release date has not yet been established, I can say that episode 1 will arrive within the next 2 weeks.  My aim is for all other episodes to follow on weekly from then.  As soon as I have more news, I'll let you know.  Until then, stay slinky!

  1. Damn, do you work for a radiocast or something? Your voice sounds very professional. If I ever did one of these, people would be wondering why I posted a sound clip of a cat being mutilated.

Anyway, I'm excited for the podcast! Super excited!

    1. Thanks man. I've never had anyone tell me that my voice is "professional". Most people just say "who is this?" and "stop calling me!"

  2. This is pretty awesome news. Congratulations in stepping up the new world. If you're ever interested in a collaboration effort or anything just let me know and we can attempt to set something up.

    1. Actually, I am looking for someone to read a few lines for me, because I'll run out of silly accents eventually. If you're interested, send me an email. I could use some experienced vocal work.

    1. Thanks! I hope it's as much fun for you as it is for me.

  4. Very impressive Mr Addman all that technology is all a bit too much for a simple brain like my own so I will have to stick with words (misspelt words). Good luck and I look forward to great things.

    1. I hope that it doesn't disappoint, and that my spoken words appease you as much as my written words.

  5. As a podcast-ophile I am excited...I should rethink my terminology there, especially when used in conjunction with "excited". Hope this doesn't mean you're abandoning the blog.

    1. I certainly won't be abandoning the blog, so there will still be stuff to read as well.

I think there are support groups for your addiction.

    1. Excellent. Do you love bad podcasts as well? Just trying to cover all my bases.

  8. The old podcast eh? I did a couple of those a few weeks ago. I was ... between that place called drunk and hungover. you know the one, where you brain has great ideas that somehow due to some strange law of physics crumble under their own awesomeness and when you listen back they sound bloody awful.... yea. that's what I did.
You sir, you will do much than I.
    Good luck.
and as stated in another comment if you need voice work I am available. Infact I have written this in a Geordie accent, moving through German, Texan hick, "proper" english Northern and Eskimo - and I bet you couldn't even tell.
THAT is how good am.... but seriously. If you need a voice i have a mans one.

    1. I might take you up on that Bumferry. I need a mans voice because mine is far too girly. Also, I need a girl's voice because mine is far too manly.

Judging from your comment it seems that you are a man of a million accents. Just try to stay sober for the recording ;)

    2. I watch and wait with eager anticipation (and I can lie really well tooooooo). good luck chaps.

  9. Wait, you're English? But I detected absolutely no accent from your writing!

I'm quite excited for this, especially for sketches. If you ever need any extra voices for sketches, give a shout. I have a top quality microphone, great comedic timing, and a voice made for radio. Also, a face made for radio.

Oh, and we're glad to hear that you read Slim and you enjoyed it. Ironically enough, the same day you posted that comment, we got an absolutely backhanded review about how Slim's stupid and just faking his delusions because he doesn't want to accept how bad the world is, and it would have been better if he had just stopped acting like an idiot and become a normal person like everyone else.

No, really. So if that baseball bat offer of yours still stands...

    1. What?! Slim Dyson is the best book I've read this year, I mean it. Anyone who insults Slim has no soul, and probably fellates horses for a living.

I'm pleased that you are looking forward to the podcast. I might take you up on that voice offer.

  10. I never saw this! And have yet to listen...I am intrigued of course and will rush home forthwith to listen to it...maybe. I can only guess as to how it sounds from the comments above and it sounds pretty good. I do have some pointers...try to avoid mentioning sheep and sex in the same sentence! But, seriously, (as serious as I can be) I am looking forward to listening and will try not to miss the podcast when it comes out in the next...week? Oh, and dont forget, if you need any ridiculous giggling - I'm available :D

  11. Thanks Kate, I might take you up on that offer. Not the sheep sex offer. Horses are superior lovers and like to cuddle afterwards.

Erm, anyway, yes, I will probably contact you if I need a silky lady voice (I'm sure I will).
