A-Z Blogging Challenge

It's the most wonderful time of the year.  The A-Z Challenge is upon us once again, like a drunken date who won't take no for an answer and keeps sobbing profusely about an ex while rubbing themselves on you uncomfortably in the hopes of finding a small salvo of comfort.

This event calls Blog owners from all corners of our box-shaped globe to post once a day throughout April.  Each day corresponds to a letter of the alphabet.  So you'll be pleased to learn that Muppets For Justice is competing in the challenge, meaning that you will have to read 26 posts from me throughout April!  You lucky, lucky people.

To give proceedings a slight kick, I have picked a theme for my challenge.  That theme is "Previous Jobs", which will give you an A-Z of my entire job history, along with several get-rich-quick schemes that I have partaken in.

Meanwhile, if you'd like to find out more about the A-Z challenge or even sign up yourself, you can do so right here:

http://www.a-to-zchallenge.com/

Join me on Tuesday the 1st when proceedings will begin with the letter A.

  1. Oh no. Please god no. NOOOOOOOOOO! Not the A-to-Z challenge. Anything but half-assed posts along a flimsy theme that generally kills blogs that I enjoy because they burn themselves out. Say it aint so. Okay, obviously I am not for the challenge because I can barely keep to my own schedule of three times a week. But between this and the November Nanowrimo blog killer, I do hope that the participants stick around after April instead of "I need a break" followed by radio silence in perpetuity.

    1. Hey, I've survived the A-Z challenge before, and I can do it again. It's a bit of a marathon, but when I've run a long distance, that doesn't stop from going for a walk afterwards.

In other words, Muppets For Justice will always exist.

  2. Haha! Well this will be the only A-Z challenge I read, because I can't face the mummy bloggers of the internet this month I just can't. I'm very VERY excited to read your employment history though. I'll take notes and see if I can sell these get rich quick schemes to people in the future x

    1. I suggest reading Rob Z Tobor and Flip, who will be doing it with me. No, I don't mean doing IT, I mean the challenge. We're not that way inclined.

  3. That is also my theme, it's easy to come up with ideas from that. (Well, easier.) I hope we don't blog the same thing. That would be embarrassing, like that time that I showed up at that party wearing the same thing the hostess did. Who woulda thought somebody else was going to wear clear heels and a sexy french maid outfit?

    1. This is just the latest in my attempts to fully assume your identity. I've already perfected your signature, and I will soon have finished growing a facemask from your DNA.

Good luck on the challenge dude.

    2. First off you are welcome to be me, 1) I've done a fairly poor job of it up to this point, 2) there are several flips running around up in my head to start off with and another certainly wouldn't hurt and 3) I am excited that you have decided to invest in a being flip franchise, as soon as I get an address I will ship you one of my children (Your choice. Not really, I'm gonna send you the bad one,) and 4) I really don't mind, we all get ideas from each other.

  4. I'm still feeling the effects of the A to Z Challenge from 2 years ago. I still never got my groove back. But I look forward to reading the coming posts you have in store.

    1. Maybe I've forgotten the pain from the first time, like having a second child. But actually, I'm quite looking forward to the challenge. I feel like a good kick up the arse might be a good thing right now.

    1. You're welcome to try them. I can't guarentee that they won't make you less rich, or even lead to hair/flesh loss.

  6. I feel like the only one who's not participating this year. Good luck to you, and we're looking forward to hearing about these past jobs. We entertained the idea of taking place in A-Z and drawing something every single day, until I started shooting up a convent and running around the freeway in my underwear screaming gibberish.

    Maybe next year.

    1. Yeah, an unfortunate state of affairs that. When I first signed up, I actually started eating my own hair and living under the stairs at the local library. I'm on the straight and narrow now, and I'm looking forward to the challenge, say my counsellors.

  7. OK Chaps synchronize watches, remember keep you heads down and if anyone falls, well we have to leave then behind. Best of luck and if we make it back to Blighty I will draw you all a picture (just the one you will have to share, I'm not stupid). I think this may be a good time to say to Mr Flip that I am making him a member of RATs (The Radical Abstract Thinkers). If you read this Mr Flip yes you are officially a member of RATs.

Just remember no alphabet on Sunday and if you dont have that AC tag on the list beware going a bit too adult or you will be locked up on bread and water until you recite every song in Mary Poppins in Cantonese. There are sensitive folk out there so in in doubt use cockney rhyming slang. . . . .

    2. I didn't put an AC tag on as I thought it stood for Assassin's Creed. Never mind, I don't think my posts are that bad.

    1. Ta, and same to you if you're on the list. I don't have time to scroll through 10 bajillion entries and find your Blog, so I'll just take a guess that you're taking part.

In fact, I'll just have a look at your Blog. Yes, it would appear that that you are taking part. Good luck.
