I haven't yet! Sorry I've been "away from the keyboard" so to speak for quite a while... I will definitely listen to this in the next day or two though!!
Awesome! I love the translator of the funny face competition. Also, it's true, no matter what you're doing, if it's important, your mother will call and interrupt everything. I live that every day. "Oh, hi mom. Yeah, I'm just doing a book signing. Oh, no, of course, I don't need to sign this guy's book and rack some more sales, I'd absolutely love to hear about what your cat just puked up. Please tell me more."
Its just like Dad's Army . . . . . It wont go away either . . . . . . . . HAH HAHAH HAHH AH HAH HAH AH HAH AH HAH AH HHAHAH HAH HAH AH HAH AH HAH AHHAH HA HAH AHA H AH AHHAHA HAHAh ah ha hah ah ah hahaha ha
This is the funniest thing since that episode of "Dallas", were J.R. shot everyone. No...no, I'm remembering that wrong. I apologize. The episode were J.R. shit on everyone. That one.
If you need audio work done. I can do...or writing things. I can do too. Or not...it's entirely up to you.
Thanks for the offer Elton, however, I have all the voice work I need for this mini series. However, if it proves popular I will do another and I'll come to you first.
Glad you liked it, although I don't understand the comparison.
Well, now, congratulations on your first podcast! It sounds fantastic and you can tell you put a lot of work into it. I hope it get all the attention it deserves.
Personally I prefer reading to listening to stuff, though. Probably because I'm a very quick reader with a vivid imagination. But I think you're funny whether you're talking or writing, so thank you very much for the laughs and I wish you luck on this new venture!
Thanks for the kind words! I'll try not to let the writing slip in favour of podcasting. I agree that the written word is potentially funnier than the spoken one as you can tranpose your own comic timing, accent, and tone to some degree. I hope I haven't burst anyone's bubble with my awful accent.
OK, for some reason the podcast player wasn't working for me. Neither here or on your original post. But I decided to come back one more time for one last try and now it's working! I'm thinking it was something with my computer vs. the player.
Awesome job! My favorite was the silly faces narration. Looking forward to some more.
Reruns already? I'll go get the TV dinner.
ReplyDeleteI know. I'd be ashamed if I wasn't actually partial to microwavable curries.

ReplyDeleteThanks man, I'll hold you to that. My spies are watching.

ReplyDeleteAnd then you want to kill the cat due to lost sales...or is that just me? I'm glad you liked it though :)
DeleteRepetition is the key to success. Repetition is the key to success.
ReplyDeleteYeah...keep telling yourself that.
